Wellbeing Practitioner, Adults 

Location: Linlithgow, West Lothian 

Hours: 7 hours per week

Salary: FTE £24,189 per annum

Are you an experienced Adult Practitioner? Are you passionate in supporting independence and positive wellbeing of others?  

If yes, then we have the perfect role for you! 

We are looking to appoint practitioners to join our growing team within our Adult Services here at Donaldsons. We are looking for Permanent staff on a Part time basis. 

We are keen to recruit as soon as possible, so please apply early, as we will be holding interviews throughout the application window. 

 

Our core service operating hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Working hours available for this vacancy are as follows: 

  • 7 hours per week, working Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm

 

You will have SVQ L3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or the willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe) and have proven experience supporting neurodivergent adults with individualised needs. 

You will provide calm, attuned support that is responsive to each supported persons sensory profile and be confident in working 1 on 1 with each person we support. You will also support with personal and intimate care needs and support safe administration of medication where required. A strong understanding of safeguarding, and working knowledge of the Health and Social Standards and the Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice are essential. 

You will align with our purpose, values and attributes of being professional, dependable, collaborative, curious and adaptable and if you are able use and/or understand Makaton/Sign Supported English or British Sign Language, then that is a bonus!

Driver 

Location: Linlithgow, West Lothian 

Hours: 18 hours per week (0.48 FTE)

Salary: £12.60 per hour

 

Are you an experienced Driver? Do you have previous experience of transporting passengers and able to demonstrate experience in a previous driver / driving position?  

If yes, then we have the perfect role for you! 

 

We are looking for a Driver to help ensure safe and effective transportation of service users to and from our Linlithgow Campus. You will help ensure that the individualised needs of those travelling on Donaldson’s transport are met, ensuring their dignity, protection and welfare are maintained at all times. We need someone with a calm and patient nature. While we will consider applications from all genders, due to the nature of the role it is likely that we will require to recruit a female for the position.

  • Term time working with split shifts 
  • Monday to Thursday – approximately 7am to 10am & 2:30pm to 5pm

Marketing and Communications Officer – 6 months Fixed Term

Location: Linlithgow, West Lothian (hybrid – office based at least 1 day per week)

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £32,981 per annum, pro-rated

 

Are you experienced in creative writing to engage audiences across various platforms? Can you support the design, production and delivery of marketing and communications campaigns across different functions?

If yes, then we have the perfect role for you!

 

We are looking to appoint a full time Marketing and Communications Officer on a 6 month fixed term contract, starting 13 January 2026, ending 17 July 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to help drive societal change for neurodivergent people by developing and delivering internal and external communications that encourage understanding, promote excellent practice, and amplify neurodivergent voices.

You will achieve this by being a central part of a small, but ambitious, Marketing and Communications team, applying your strong experience in digital platforms, content creation, and passion for storytelling to raise the profile and showcase the impactful work of The Donaldson Trust to a variety of stakeholders.

You will have a relevant degree, or a Marketing/Communications specific qualification (or equivalent experience). If you happen to have a professional membership of CIM or CIPR then great!
