Donaldson's is Scotland's national school for pupils who are deaf or have communication difficulties.
Donaldson's new campus in Linlithgow opened in January 2008 and is the newest and most modern environment designed to educate and care for children who are deaf or have communication difficulties in the UK.
Set on the edge Linlithgow, the school enjoys a quiet position and yet is near to the town centre so our pupils can be involved in the life of the town.
Our campus has shared teaching, sports, dining and administrative facilities in a central hub linking the two teaching wings - the nursery/primary and secondary schools. Both schools are grouped around individual play spaces with links and views to the landscape.

Classrooms, each of which accommodates six pupils, feature state-of-the-art Soundfield systems and interactive whiteboards.
Residential accommodation is in a separate purpose-built Lodge on the edge of the site. Visit Our Residence section for more information.
"The accommodation provided for the children/young people was of an extremely high standard and very innovative use had been made of technology to provide an environment that met their needs and contributed to a very positive experience"
