Macmillan Coffee Morning & Bake Off

Macmillan Coffee Morning & Bake Off

On Friday 12th February senior pupils organised a Coffee Morning and Bake Off to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.  As well as coffee and tea being available, there were stalls selling home baking, a tombola, nearly new toys and books and a raffle.  The event was well attended by staff, parents, friends, and supporters and raised a fantastic £353.31.

At the Coffee Morning a Bake off was held.  Staff and pupils submitted cakes, biscuits and gluten free baking.  Plates of small pieces of the baking were sold for 50p and everyone who tested the baking voted for the best one.  Susan Duffy in Finance won the biscuit section, Principal Teacher Kirsty Donaldson's baking won the gluten free section and Gill Sinclair, Fundraising/Marketing Officer won the cake section.

A huge thank you to all who attended and contributed to the great total and a big thank you to all the senior pupils who organised the event.
