The Chief Executive Officer of The Donaldson's Trust, Linlithgow, invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the posts of:

School Administrator - Maternity Cover - 1 Year

During the last year  the Donaldson's Trust has gone through a period of significant change and is now seeking to develop a holistic provision with empowering opportunities for young people living with challenges to maximise and enhance their ability to lead an independent and fulfilling life and make a positive contribution to 'society'.

The Trust is now seeking a dynamic and creative individual to take ont he roleof School Administrator, providing 1 year maternity cover.

Reporting to the Principal Teacher the successful candidate will require someone with excellent organistration and time management skills with proven experience of working within multi-disciplined function, ideally within a school environment.  They will provide organisational support to the principal teacher and take responsiblity for the efficient running of school office, ensuring all standards and targets are met and maintained.

Application are invited from self-motivated individuals with a pro-active approach who enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of epxerience int he use of Microsoft packages are essential qualities, as is the ability to produce high qulity, accurate work to strict deadlines.

This post offers the challenge of working with the Mangement Team and towards shaping the future direction of the Trust.

Requirements: PVG certificate required.

 

HR/ H&S Administrator

The Trust is now seeking a dynamic and creative individual to take on the role of HR / H&S Administrator with an interest or experience in Human Resources and Health & Safety.

Reporting to the HR Advisor the successful candidate will provide efficient support to the department and will require excellent organisation and time management skills as well as proven experience of working within a busy and multi-disciplined function.

Applications are invited from self-motivated individuals who enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the the ability to multi task and cope well under pressure are essential qualities, as is the ability to produce high quality, accurate work to strict deadlines.

Experience within a generalist HR and or H&S environment with a CIPP or IOSH qualification would be desirable.

This is a hands on role and requires someone with a pro-active approach who is able to form good working relationships with people at all levels to assist in shaping the future of the trust.

Volunteering Opportunities

We have no volunteering opportunities available within our Education or Care Departments.

Donaldson's School, however, relies heavily on donations to support our work with children and young people who are deaf or have communication difficulties. We are looking to recruit volunteers who would be willing to help with fundraising events both within and outwith the School.
