The Chief Executive Officer of Donaldson's School, Linlithgow, invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the post of:

Head of Education

Salary: £51,882 - £56,259 per annum.

Donaldson's is a grant aided residential and day school for children and young people who are deaf, hard of hearing or who have a communication disorder.

Although the children and young people have a wide range of strengths and abilities, their complex additional support needs can act as barriers to all aspects of their learning and life.  We provide 24 hour learning and living experiences for children aged from 5 to 18 years over 39 weeks of the year.

Over the last year Donaldson's has gone through a period of significant change and is now seeking a dynamic and creative individual with proven skills in change management and values based leadership.  The successful candidate will have experience in the field of policy development and the implementation and monitoring of systems of quality assurance within the field of education.

In addition, the successful candidate will be committed to the rights of and equality for all children and young people.

Applications from those with experience of working at a senior management level in the field of Education, Curriculum and Policy Development, or corporate management are particularly welcome.

This post offers the challenge of working with the CEO and the Board of Trustees towards shaping the future direction of learning and teaching within the School and Trust.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

We have no volunteering opportunities available within our Education or Care Departments.

Donaldson's School, however, relies heavily on donations to support our work with children and young people who are deaf or have communication difficulties. We are looking to recruit volunteers who would be willing to help with fundraising events both within and outwith the School.
