Donaldson's is Scotland's national school for pupils who are deaf or have communication difficulties.
At Donaldson's, we employ a part-time school nurse and are able to contact the School Nursing Service, provided by the local Primary Care Trust, for advice and support on a range of medical and health issues. The nursing service also provides staff training, as required, to meet the specific healthcare needs of individual pupils. The nurse also delivers immunisation programmes to the pupils on site.
Our staff and pupils also benefit from advice, resources, and guidance on a range of issues including nutrition, exercise, smoking, mental health, drugs and sexual health.
