Donaldson's is Scotland's national school for pupils who are deaf or have communication difficulties.
Parent Staff Association
Donaldson's has an active Parent Staff Association (PSA). Open to all parents and staff the aim of the PSA is to engage the whole school community in social and fundraising activities.
Run by a committee of parents and staff the association is also registered as a separate charity to the school so that it can apply for grants from trusts and foundations in its own right.
The PSA is fully supported by the school and Board and offers new parents in particular a lovely opportunity to meet established parents and get support from each other and make new friendships.
The PSA organises annual social events for children and their families/carers including fun days and a family Christmas party whilst also helping out with fundraising events organised by the school.
