MANAGER OF CARE
Permanent; Full Time; 37 hours per week; 52 weeks per year; 'on call' rota

Salary £37,161 to £40,710 depending on experience

We are looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic and highly motivated Manager of Care to lead our residential care team.

If you have the skills to provide strategic and effective leadership in all aspects of care across our residence and school, and can lead and motivate our committed residential care team, then we want to hear from you.

The successful candidate will also be expected to embrace the School's vision and values by facilitating the ongoing development of the 24 hour Curriculum for Excellence and Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC).

You will hold a relevant qualification in the leadership and management of care services (or be willing to work towards this in an agreed timescale) to meet the registration requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Candidates are expected to have held a similar management role in the past or be ready for a new challenge in their career.

1 x Full Time 35 hours Monday to Friday 10.45am-6.15pm (with 30 minute unpaid meal break) Term time only

Actual Salary £17,061.57 to £19,885.59

1 x Part Time 14 hours Thursday and Friday 10.45am-6.15pm (with 30 minute unpaid meal break) Term time only

Actual Salary £6,824.63 to £7,954.24

Due to the introduction of extended opening times for the Nursery we are looking to fill these posts on a fixed term basis whilst we develop our new service and increase our intake of young children into the Nursery.

This is an opportunity to join an existing well established team in providing a recognised first class service in early years education.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

We have no volunteering opportunities available within our Education or Care Departments.

Donaldson's School, however, relies heavily on donations to support our work with children and young people who are deaf or have communication difficulties. We are looking to recruit volunteers who would be willing to help with fundraising events both within and outwith the School.
